Un best of pour Girls Aloud

En 2002, l’équivalent britannique de Popstars crée un nouveau girlband, composé de cinq jeunes chanteuses, les “Girls Aloud”. Douze morceaux du groupe ont atteint le top ten en Grande-Bretagne et deux singles ont même été numéro un: Sound of the Underground et I’ll Stand by You, la reprise des Pretenders.

Quatre ans et trois albums plus tard, Girls Aloud sort son premier best of. The Sound of Girls Aloud est prévu pour le 30 octobre. Tous les singles seront repris mais aussi un nouveau titre Something Kinda Ooooh. Un second disque de raretés est également prévu en édition limitée. Il comprendra une reprise de Blondie Hanging On The Telephone, de Kaiser Chiefs I Predict A Riot et même de Chris Isaak avec son Wicked Game.
